Free safety data sheet search
SDSLibrary helps you find safety data sheets (SDS), also known as material safety data sheets or MSDS, for chemicals used at work. Search for cleaners, paints, adhesives, oils, lubricants and other products by product name, manufacturer or EAN barcode. Open a product page to check the document language, revision date and available hazard information before requesting the PDF.
Searching is free. Enter a product name or identifying code, compare the results and choose the document that matches your product and supplier. You can request a free download link by email. The link is valid for two hours. Always read the supplier’s original safety data sheet before handling a chemical, and check that it is the appropriate version for your product and workplace.
SDSLibrary search covers 25 languages: English, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Slovenian, Croatian, Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Greek, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian and Turkish. Where available, product pages link to other language versions. Choose a language employees understand and check any local documentation requirements.
A safety data sheet provides information about classification, ingredients, safe handling, storage, exposure controls, personal protective equipment, first aid, fire response, accidental releases and disposal. It supports informed workplace decisions but does not replace a risk assessment or instructions adapted to the job. Refer to the original document for complete information rather than relying only on a search result or summary.
If your workplace uses many chemicals, organise the documents in a digital inventory and make them accessible to employees with QR codes. Explore chemical inventory and SDS management software, a Swedish digital kemikalieförteckning, or a Norwegian digitalt stoffkartotek.
